So. It kills me to see that the last post was done over a month ago.
Maybe life just got too busy. Maybe we got bored of this blog.
No. I didn't get bored of it.
Here I am now! School is good, and so is life. I have enjoyed seeing my old friends now and again. I still miss them, but I'm sure you know how it is. Anyway, all I really wanted to do is check on the blogging world and see how it's doing. Hope to see more posts on this blog in the near future!

I love Les Miserables and can't wait for the movie. Just saying...

20! Now let's talk about my nerdiness...

Okay, so I just have to express my love for a few things. My obsession would be a better word for it.
Anyway,
I love
1. Psych
2. Harry Potter
3. Cupcakes
4. Ukuleles
5. Being a pro drummer
-and-
last but not least.....
6. PANDAS!!!

So, let me explain my obsession of Psych-
I love Psych so much! It reminds me of the relationship between me and one of my best friends, Emmria. I love Emmria a lot and I am so happy that we are good friends. Psych is funny and I love Shawn's nicknames for Gus. :) I love Juliet's and Shawn's relationship, because it is so funny! Lassie is probably my favorite character, though!
So, I must leave you and I will tell you about my other obsessions at a later date. BUT! I will leave you with this quote from Lassie...
"I would rather shower with a bear."
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!

Number Nineteen

I love dances! Stake dances, school dances, they are amazing! I just had a Stake dance on last Saturday, and this past Friday was my school's dance. It was so fun!

But it's horrible without you guys. I mean, I'm completely serious when I say I love them and they're fun... but it's scary having to face these challenges without my friends by my side. Facing things alone, without the people closest to my heart... it's terrifying.

So there's something I love, and something I fear and hate. I miss you!

Well, I guess it is my turn. :)
So, all I really need to share is an adorable quote that I found on the internet.

best friends are so
hard to find cuz
the very best
one is already
MINE

Anyway, I love you guys! Sorry that it is really short. :)

Post Number Sixteen!

We're almost at twenty, guys!

I really, really, really love... Girls Camp! It's one of the best parts of summer. It's one of the most spiritual activity ever (even though you wouldn't think camping is spiritual haha). You can bond with the people in your ward, and just have a great time.
I'm sad because I only have 3 years left. I'm halfway done with my Girls Camp years! Come to think of it, I'm halfway done with Young Women. Uh-oh!!!

Anyway...I'm leaving tomorrow for camp, guys. Will you miss me? :)

15th Post?...yes...15th Post

Sometimes a crumb falls
From the tables of joy,
Sometimes a bone
Is flung.

To some people
Love is given,
To others
Only heaven.

Thank you Langston Hughes. This is a lovely poem I found in a book that should have been picked up by me long ago. I was searching for a poetry book on our big old shelf...don't ask me why...and I came across this one:

I read and read and read. Each poem was like a motivator for me to keep reading. Truly, all of them were incredible. The words like honey in some, hard bricks that hurt in others. I ended up flipping to the middle like I always do in books. And I happened to read the last stanza of the one above, entitled "Luck."
Why did it make me cry?
Out of nowhere, I just started to cry. Tears were streaming down my face. I stil don't know how that happened.
But I do know this:
Those words just...were so beautiful to me at the time. And even now, I just can't get enough of them. So...perfect.

Poetry, I am now discovering, is like a window to new experiences in reading. Lately, the only titles I've dared to pick up are written specifically for young adults. But this is another...a different...work of art. Now I know why I wanted to find a poetry book. And I can't regret finding this one on the dusty shelf.
I love it.
